Trial Run

This year, Arizona School for the Arts will be the first community CollabArts is introduced to. This coming fall, we will use the results we get from CollabArts at Arizona School for the Arts to tell you how to start your local community chapter, as well as provide detailed plans and opportunities for collaborative art.

ASA Students: We will begin in the second or third week of school. There will be an announcement providing you with more information prior to that. We will be working both on and off campus, and we will make appearances at various events next year under the name CollabArts. Upon the first meeting, we will talk to you about the full architecture of the organization, as well as some of the events and opportunities we are planning.

Stay tuned for more information!

CollabArts Purpose and Mission Statement

CollabArts is global organization devoted to building personal and professional relationships for collaborative art. The CollabArts Network is a place where people can share artistic ideas and values, create teams and partnerships through the arts, and find the work of other artists.

Although the organization is still under development, it will consist of community CollabArts Chapters which meet regularly (the frenquency is up to the Chapter itself), although we recommend once every week or two. A CollabArts Chapter is functional both as a social club and a tool, and it can be utilized in several different settings.

CollabArts Mission Statement: The organization CollabArts exists to ensure that all artists worldwide have a place to share their artistic talents and foster personal, professional, and social relationships by creating cumulative art. We at CollabArts aim to give opportunities to underrepresented artists and we strive to help make the world more connected through every form of art.

We are still in the process of fully realizing the organization. We will shortly include sections on how to start a chapter, be a chapter organizer, and create opportunities for collaborative arts efforts in your community.

Stay tuned for more information. Continue spreading art around the world!
